Utazás, érkezés - Travelling and arrival

Budapest  - London - Washington

A döntés megszületett, a papírok elintézve, most már csak utazni kell.

Terv: reggeli Budapesten, ebéd Londonban, vacsora Washingtonban.

Ébredés korán reggel, indulás a géppel Londonba.

Érzések: izgatott, kicsit szomorú, kicsit ideges.

Szerencsére nem egyedül utaztam, hanem kedves új barátommal, Ninával. Így Londonban a reptéren jót dumáltunk, néztük az embereket hogy jönnek mennek, és együtt töltöttük első közös ebédünket a Giraffe-ban és együtt vártuk izgatottan, hogy felszállhassunk A NAGY gépre és megtegyük életünk első 8 órás útját repülővel az óceán felett. :)

A gépre feljutva végig kellett mennünk egészen a végéig, így láthattuk az első osztályt az elején kényelmes székekkel, nagy kijelzőkkel, majd elfoglaltuk mi a helyünket. A legvégén az utolsó üléseken, az ablak mellett a jobb oldalon. :)

Kicsit fárasztó volt 8 órán keresztül utazni, de gyönyörködhettünk a felhőkben, és nézhettünk filmeket. Természetesen kaptunk főételt és szendvicseket. Sokszor azért megijedtem amikor kicsit jobban megrázkódott a gép, de végül szerencsésen megérkeztünk, bár majdnem egy órás késéssel.

Már este 9 óra is volt, mikor odaértünk az ellenőrzéshez, és beállhattunk a sorba. csupán háromnegyed óra várakozás és sorra is kerültünk. Néhány kérdés, egy kép, és mehettünk is a csomagokhoz.

Szerencsére kijöttek értünk és el is jutottunk hamar a hotelhoz, ahol csütörtök délig maradtunk.

Budapest - London - Washington

The decision is made, the paperworks are done, now comes the travelling.

Plan: breakfast in Budapest, lunch in London and dinner in Washington.

So I had to wake up early, then it was time to fly to London.

Feelings: excited, a little bit sad, and a little bit nervous.

I didn't travell on my own, I was with my really nice new friend, Nina. :) So we had a nice chat in London, and watched the people coming and passing by, and it was our first lunch that we spent together in Giraffe and we were excited to get on THE BIG plane and have our first 8 hours flight over the Ocean. :)

So after we got on the plane, we had to go to the end of it, and we had a chance to see the first class in the front with nice comfortable chairs and big screens. Our seats were in the end of the plane, the last two chairs, next to the window on the right side.

It was a little bit exhausting to travel 8 hours, but we had a good view to the clouds, and we could watch movies. We had a chicken paella on the way and sandwiches. I was a little bit scared because of the turbulence, but we landed safely in the end with an hour delay.

It was 9pm, when we got to the checking points, and we had to queue for more than a half an hour. There, at the checking points, they asked some questions, made a picture, and then we could get our bags.

They came to pick us up from the airport and bring us to the hotel, where we stayed till Thursday noon.

Mission completed!
